Atelier 001, a London-based lighting studio founded by designer Eva Menz, approached us with a new lamp design that at that time existed only as a concept. The goal was to create a series of high-quality visualizations that would present the product as if it had already been photographed in a professional studio.
The collection included several variations and combinations of the lamp, and the visuals needed to reflect the brand’s distinct aesthetic language used across their website and communication.
Our task was to transform Eva’s design vision into highly realistic product renders — from studio packshots showing the lamp from different angles to conceptual interior scenes demonstrating how the lighting pieces would live within architectural space.
These visualizations allowed the brand to present and promote the product long before the first physical prototype was manufactured.

1. Recreating the product based on real references
The goal was to produce visualizations that would match the real product as closely as possible — capturing the materials, reflections, and overall appearance exactly as it exists in reality.
2.Creating studio-quality packshots
The client needed a series of studio-style renders that would look like professional product photography.
The images had to show the lamp from different angles, highlight material details, and fit seamlessly into the visual language used across the Atelier 001 website and brand communication.
3.Presenting the lamp in architectural context
Alongside the studio visuals, the project required conceptual interior renders that would demonstrate how the lighting pieces could work within designed spaces.
These images needed to balance realism with atmosphere while maintaining the strong design identity of the brand.
1.Recreating the product based on real references
For the Liquid collection, Atelier 001 provided detailed references, including photographs of the existing lamp and a clear technical brief.
Our task was to carefully study the materials, proportions, and construction of the fixture and recreate it in 3D with high accuracy.
2. Creating realistic studio product renders
We produced a series of packshot-style renders that simulate professional studio photography.
The lighting, reflections, and composition were carefully crafted to emphasize the character of the product and align with the aesthetic direction of Atelier 001.
3.Developing conceptual interior visuals
To complement the product renders, we created atmospheric interior scenes where the lamps could be experienced within architectural space.
These images helped demonstrate the design potential of the collection beyond the studio presentation.
1.Product launch before production
The renders allowed Atelier 001 to present the lighting design publicly before the first prototype was manufactured.
The visuals were used across the brand’s website and social media platforms.
2.Generating early demand
After publishing the renders, the brand began receiving orders even before the product physically existed.
The visualizations helped communicate the design clearly and created excitement around the new collection.
3.A long-term creative collaboration
This project marked one of our earliest collaborations in product rendering.
Since 2019, our studio has continued working with Atelier 001 on numerous collections, producing more than 500 renders for the brand.
The images have supported the global presentation and sales of their lighting designs.

“We started working with Bogdan and André even before our first physical prototype existed. Their renders became the foundation of our early storytelling – allowing us to share our vision and start selling long before the lamps were produced. Over the years, the Molot team has created countless visuals that shaped the Atelier001 brand, helping us communicate light, material, and emotion without ever compromising on beauty. It’s been a truly creative and valuable collaboration – both artistically and practically.”
“We started working with Eva and the Atelier001 team when the lamps still existed mostly as ideas and sketches.
Our role was to create the first space where those ideas could live visually — to let light, material, and form begin telling their story.
For us it was never just about rendering objects. It was about building an atmosphere around them — a quiet stage where craftsmanship, proportion, and emotion could be felt even before the first piece was produced.”
